Dandenong Oasis

I recently noticed some safety concerns in the 50 meter pool. The broken tiles on the edges can be dangerous, especially if someone accidentally hits their head. It's been like this for a few months, and simply putting up a warning sign doesn't solve the problem. Additionally, the shower rooms and pool itself could use some cleaning as it doesn't seem very hygienic. It would be great if the management/council could address these issues for a safer and cleaner swimming experience.

The place is nice and friendly, The 50 meter pool is lovely with a big space to swim although it might be abit cold, there is a smaller pool that is much warmer and is for anyone which is nice but isn’t as deep. The Lifeguards are great at their job and really kind. Although the bathrooms needs an upgrade and better hygiene for the amount of people who come here daily.

I just re-found this pool. I hadn’t realised there was a 50m pool here. I’ve been twice in the last two days and have loved it. Why? 1. I get a lane to myself. 2. The pool temperature is good 👍. 3. The water is clean (despite the tiling being stained and far from pristine), 4. There are some lovely trees to look out at both sides and the building gets lovely natural light streaming through from lots of windows. 4. Large change rooms (!). It would be perfect if the showers were actually hot. But I’ve swam at a LOT of pools and you can’t have everything. I’m happy 😃

Smelly sauna...shocking!! I've been here a number of times as it is much closer than other swimming pools. Whilst the pool is fine, the sauna is disgusting and I just couldn't stay in it for more than a minute... it feels dirty, grimy and old...the smell was bad and made me feel ill. I wouldn't go back at overwhelming overwhelming on the last visit so much so I almost there Even though this

Dandenong Oasis is a ok public pool with something for everyone. The 50-meter lap pool is perfect for swimmers of all levels, and the kids' pool is a blast for little ones. There's also a spa, sauna, slide, and therapy pool, so you can relax and rejuvenate after your swim. The pool is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the fact that the lifeguards are always vigilant and keep a close eye on all the swimmers. One thing to note is that the men's showers only have cold water. This may be a downside for some people, but it's not a dealbreaker for me as I shower at home. Overall, I recommend Dandenong Oasis to anyone looking for public pool experience. It's heated and has a variety of features, including a ramp and a lift. Overall, Dandenong Oasis is an old public pool that needs updating. I highly recommend to limit your expectations to
